EXT Specifications
BOC Edwards small EXT 70 uses a magnetic upper bearing and a ceramic lower bearing. In the EXT250M the rotor is entirely supported by magnetic bearings and can be mounted in any orientation. In the EXT70H the letter H signifies compound molecular: combined bladed turbomolecular stages with molecular drag stages on the same rotor.
