Edwards new line of lightweight aluminum gate valves are designed for high vacuum service and are well suited for isolation of roughing lines and forelines in a vacuum process where high conductance is required. An optional position indicator is available, which is activated by magnet inside the pneumatic actuator providing closure for the open and closed positions. Easy removal of the actuator allows ease of servicing while the valve body remains in situations.
