As a member of the Power Supply team, you will be responsible for the refurbishment, estimating repair cost/time and documentation of the major name brands of RF and DC power supplies. Specifically, you will verify that the product functions per the manufacturers published specifications, provide accurate repair costs and written test reports/estimates. You will be required to write test procedures /plans and document the best known methods for repairing power supplies.
This position requires a strong technical background with a concentration in micro-controlled high power/frequency power supplies, leadership capabilities, and a desire to excel in a dynamic and challenging environment.
ResponsibilitiesProvide technical expertise through all phases of the Product Refurbishment process. Specifically, you will be responsible for expanding PTB’s portfolio of refurbished power supplies in-house. Identify process/equipment improvements to meet the strategic initiatives of the company.
The candidate must have a demonstrated record of achievement and growth over a minimum of 8 years as a Test Engineer in the area of micro-controlled high energy power supplies. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
